Turris Omnia NG Wired is a high-performance router built on a quad-core Qualcomm IPQ9574 processor with a frequency of 2.2 GHz and 64-bit ARMv8 architecture. The router offers two 10Gbps SFP+ ports and four 2.5Gbps RJ-45 ports for maximum network throughput. Thanks to three M.2 slots (key B, E, and M), the router can be easily expanded with NVMe storage, Wi-Fi 6/7 cards, or a 4G/5G modem.
The router is equipped with 2 GB DDR4 RAM, 8GB eMMC internal storage, and a color IPS display with a resolution of 240 × 240 px for displaying system status. Thanks to its smart design with passive cooling, it operates completely silently and can be installed in a rack cabinet. The Turris OS operating system based on OpenWRT provides advanced features including automatic security updates and support for LXC containers.
Turris Sentinel – advanced network protection
The router is equipped with the Turris Sentinel system, which functions as a distributed dynamic firewall. The system evaluates threats from the entire Turris ecosystem in real-time and provides more than 15,000 security updates daily. Attack detection and update delivery takes only 2 seconds. It includes IDS (Intrusion Detection System) and NetFlow monitoring.
Flexible expandability
Three M.2 slots with different keys allow wide expansion possibilities. The M.2 key B slot is designed for 4G/5G modems, key E for Wi-Fi 6 or Wi-Fi 7 cards (upgrade kit with up to 8 antennas available for purchase), and key M for fast NVMe SSD drives. Two USB 3.0 ports provide additional options for connecting external devices.
Turris OS and long-term support
The Turris OS operating system is based on the OpenWRT Linux distribution and allows the use of LXC containers. The system features automatic updates and long-term support – updates are provided even for devices older than 10 years, including new features.
