High-performance managed switch for larger branch offices and SMB networks with high PoE output and advanced features.
Cisco Catalyst 1300-48FP-4X is an enterprise-class switch with Layer 3 features with 48 ports 10/100/1000 Mbps supporting PoE+ (802.3at) with a total power budget of 740 W. With 4 ports 10 Gigabit SFP+ it provides high-speed uplink connectivity and the ability to stack up to 8 units via the front panel for easy network scalability. The switch is built on a modified Linux operating system and offers intuitive management via Cisco Business Dashboard as well as advanced CLI interface.
This model is ideal for deployment in branch offices and medium-sized businesses where reliable power supply for IP phones, wireless access points and other PoE devices is required. Switching capacity of 176 Gbps and forwarding rate of 130.94 Mpps ensure smooth operation even at full load on all ports. The switch supports advanced features such as dynamic Layer 3 routing (RIPv2), 802.1X authentication, VLAN (up to 4094), QoS with 8 queues, IPv6 dual stack and comprehensive security mechanisms.

Front panel stacking and high availability
The switch supports stacking via front panel ports up to 8 units with automatic numbering, hot swap units and fast failover function (automatic switchover on failure). Stacking provides a unified data and control plane with up to 400 ports managed as one system. Supports LAG (Link Aggregation) across the entire stacked bundle with up to 8 groups and 8 ports per group.
Advanced multicast features
IGMP snooping v1/v2/v3 with support for up to 2000 multicast groups, IGMP querier for Layer 2 multicast domains without a router, IGMP proxy for simplified multicast traffic forwarding. Multicast TV VLAN (MVR) allows sharing of one multicast VLAN among separate customer VLANs.
Connectivity and compatibility
The switch supports a wide range of Cisco SFP+ modules for 10 Gigabit Ethernet over optical fiber (SR, LR, ER), as well as direct metallic connections using DAC and AOC cables. All ports are full speed (wire-speed) and nonblocking. Supports jumbo frames up to 9000 bytes (default MTU 2000 bytes).
Management and monitoring
Cisco Business Dashboard with AI assistant for simplified management, Cisco Business mobile application for management from mobile devices, SNMP for remote management, RMON (4 groups), sFlow agent, port/VLAN mirroring, RSPAN for remote monitoring.
