Quattro represents an advanced solution for energy systems with the ability to connect two independent AC sources, such as the public grid and a generator. The device automatically switches to the active source and ensures continuous power supply to critical loads. The main output features a no-break function with switching under 20 milliseconds, enabling seamless operation of computers and sensitive electronics even during grid outages.
With continuous power of 8000 VA (6400 W) at 25 °C and charging current up to 200 A, it provides sufficient capacity for demanding applications. PowerControl technology intelligently manages charging with regard to available power from the grid or generator, while PowerAssist can supplement grid power with battery energy during short-term load peaks.
Advanced features and configuration
The device can be easily configured using DIP switches for standalone applications, or VE.Bus Quick Configure and VE.Bus System Configurator software for parallel and three-phase connections. For off-grid, grid-interactive and self-consumption systems with photovoltaics, specialized Assistants are available.
Monitoring and remote control
Quattro supports a wide range of monitoring solutions – from simple Digital Multi Control Panel through Color Control GX to Bluetooth monitoring using VE.Bus Smart Dongle. When connected to the internet via Color Control GX, it enables remote access and configuration including free data storage on the VRM portal (Victron Remote Management).
Two outputs for optimal load management
The main output with no-break function ensures uninterrupted power supply to critical appliances. The second output is active only when AC input is available and is suitable for connecting loads that should not discharge the battery, such as a water heater or air conditioning.
