Teltonika TRB160 is an ultra-compact industrial gateway designed for M2M communication and IoT applications. The device offers mobile connectivity 4G LTE Cat 6 with speeds up to 300 Mbps download and 50 Mbps upload. For wired connectivity, it features a Gigabit Ethernet port (10/100/1000 Mbps) and a unique USB-C interface that supports simultaneous power and network connection.
The gateway is equipped with a Qualcomm processor at 1.2 GHz, 128 MB RAM and 256 MB Flash memory. The RutOS operating system (based on OpenWrt Linux) offers advanced features including OpenVPN, IPsec, GRE, PPTP, L2TP, WireGuard and other VPN protocols. The aluminum housing with dimensions 83 × 74.2 × 25 mm and weight 172 g ensures durability in industrial environments with operating temperature -40 to +75 °C.

Industrial protocols and IoT integration
The gateway supports MODBUS TCP (server/client), OPC UA (client), DNP3 (station/outstation), DLMS/COSEM for energy meters and MQTT Gateway for communication with MODBUS servers via MQTT broker. Data to Server function enables data transmission via HTTP(S), MQTT or Azure MQTT with custom LUA scripts support.
Network features and security
Advanced routing (BGP, OSPF v2, RIP v1/v2, EIGRP, NHRP), firewall with DDOS protection, port forwarding, QoS/SQM, VLAN separation, DDNS (25+ providers), DNS over HTTPS. Authentication using pre-shared key, X.509 certificates, TACACS+, RADIUS, SSL certificate generation (Let's Encrypt, SCEP).
Mobile features
SMS management (email to SMS, SMS to HTTP, scheduled SMS, SMPP), USSD support, multiple PDN, band lock, Auto APN, mobile bridge/passthrough. Support for 4G LTE-FDD bands B1, B3, B5, B7, B8, B20, B28, B32 and LTE-TDD B38, B40, B41, 3G bands B1, B3, B5, B8.
