The ZyXEL XMG1915-10E switch represents an affordable solution for upgrading network infrastructure to Multi-Gigabit speeds of 2.5 Gb/s. All eight RJ-45 ports support automatic speed detection 100M/1G/2.5G and allow you to utilize the full potential of modern devices without the need to replace cabling. Two 10G SFP+ ports (compatible with 1G SFP) provide high-speed uplink for connecting servers or interconnecting with other switches.
The device supports NebulaFlex technology, which enables flexible choice between cloud management via Nebula Control Center and local configuration through web interface. Compact fanless design with dimensions 250 × 104 × 27 mm and weight of only 0.76 kg ensures completely silent operation ideal for office environments. Switching capacity of 80 Gb/s and forwarding rate of 59.5 Mp/s guarantee smooth operation even under high load.
Advanced network features
The switch offers a complete set of Layer 2 functions including support for up to 1024 static VLANs (IEEE 802.1Q), port-based VLAN, Voice VLAN and MAC-based VLAN. Redundancy is provided by STP/RSTP/MSTP and Loop Guard protocols. For link aggregation, LACP is available with support for up to 5 trunk groups of 8 ports each.
Quality of Service and security
Eight hardware queues per port with SPQ, WRR and WFQ methods ensure traffic prioritization according to IEEE 802.1p standard. Storm control protects the network from broadcast, multicast and unknown unicast frames. Security includes Layer 2 MAC filtering, port security, authentication via RADIUS and encrypted communication using SSH v2 and SSL.
Flexible management and monitoring
The device can be managed through intuitive web interface, SNMP v1/v2c/v3 or Nebula cloud platform. The ZON (Zyxel One Network) utility enables centralized discovery and configuration of Zyxel devices. Smart Connect feature provides easy access to managing neighboring devices. Monitoring is provided by RMON (groups 1, 2, 3, 9), Syslog and LLDP/LLDP-MED.
