Cisco Catalyst 1200-48P-4X is a 48-port Gigabit Ethernet switch with Power over Ethernet (PoE+) support and four 10 Gigabit Ethernet SFP+ uplink ports. The switch offers a total PoE budget of 375 W, enabling power delivery to up to 48 devices such as IP phones, wireless access points, or IP cameras directly through the network cable. With a switching capacity of 176 Gbps and throughput of 130.94 Mpps, it ensures smooth operation even for demanding applications.
The switch is managed through Cisco Business Dashboard or the Cisco Business mobile app, which provide an intuitive interface for network configuration and monitoring. Network features and protocols
The switch supports RSTP, MSTP, PVST+, and RPVST+ for network redundancy, LACP link aggregation (up to 4 groups of 8 ports), IGMP snooping for multicast traffic optimization, and LLDP/LLDP-MED for automatic IP phone configuration. Voice VLAN and Auto Smartports simplify deployment of voice and data services.
Management and monitoring
Built-in support for Cisco Network Plug and Play enables automatic configuration on first connection. The switch offers SNMP v1/v2c/v3, RMON, port mirroring (up to 4 source ports), syslog, SSH/Telnet access, and Bluetooth dongle connectivity. Dual image system ensures safe firmware updates.
