Managed network switch designed for branch offices and small to medium-sized businesses with advanced Layer 3 features.
Cisco Catalyst 1300-16T-2G is a fixed managed switch with 16 ports 10/100/1000 Mbps and 2 SFP uplink ports for fiber optic connectivity. The switch offers switching capacity of 36 Gbps and throughput of 26.78 Mpps, ensuring fully non-blocking operation on all ports simultaneously. The switch is designed for deployment outside the rack in branch offices, retail stores, or open offices.
The device supports dynamic Layer 3 routing including RIP v2 protocol, enables network segmentation using up to 4094 VLANs, and offers advanced QoS features with 8 hardware queues. The switch is managed through the intuitive Cisco Business Dashboard or mobile application, which significantly simplifies network configuration and management. It also supports Cisco Network Plug and Play for automated deployment.
Management and Deployment
The switch supports management via web interface (HTTP/HTTPS), CLI, SNMP v1/v2c/v3, and Cisco Business Dashboard with built-in probe. Cisco Network Plug and Play enables automated deployment with minimal administrator intervention. For remote management, SSH v1/v2 and Telnet are available.
Security Features
The switch offers comprehensive security including port security, DHCP snooping, Dynamic ARP Inspection, IP Source Guard, and IPv6 First Hop Security. It supports up to 1024 ACL rules for traffic filtering and protection against unauthorized access.
Network Protocols
The switch supports STP, RSTP, MSTP for redundancy, LACP for link aggregation up to 8 ports, IGMP snooping for multicast optimization, and LLDP/LLDP-MED for automatic device discovery on the network.
