Cisco Catalyst 1300-16XTS is a fully managed Layer 3 switch designed for branch offices and small to medium-sized businesses with high network throughput requirements. It combines 8 ports of 10GBase-T for connectivity over standard copper cables and 8 ports of 10 Gigabit SFP+ for optical connections, providing maximum flexibility when building high-speed infrastructure.
The switch runs on a native Linux operating system and offers intuitive management through Cisco Business Dashboard with built-in AI assistance or mobile application. It supports advanced features such as hardware stacking of up to 8 switches, dynamic Layer 3 routing, comprehensive security according to IEEE 802.1X standard, and energy-efficient technologies including IEEE 802.3az.
Flexible connectivity and high performance
The switch combines copper 10GBase-T ports with a range of up to 30 m (Cat6a/Cat7) and optical SFP+ slots for optical connections at distances from 26 m to 40 km depending on the module used. A table of 32,000 MAC addresses and 3 MB packet buffer ensure smooth operation even in demanding environments.
Advanced networking features
Supports up to 4,094 VLANs, GVRP/GARP for automatic propagation, Q-in-Q tunneling, and Private VLAN for traffic isolation. Layer 3 features include up to 7,168 IPv4/IPv6 routes, 256 IP interfaces, and multicast support with IGMP/MLD snooping for up to 4,000 groups.
Centralized management
Built-in probe for Cisco Business Dashboard enables monitoring, automated deployment, and lifecycle management without the need to install separate hardware. Alternatively, you can use web GUI, CLI via SSH/Telnet, or SNMP v1/v2c/v3.
