The Cisco Catalyst 1300-48FP-4G switch offers 48 Gigabit Ethernet ports with support for IEEE 802.3af PoE and 802.3at PoE+ standards with a total power budget of up to 740 W. Each port can deliver up to 30 W, enabling power for more demanding devices such as IP phones, Wi-Fi 6 wireless access points, or IP cameras with PTZ functions.
The switch is also equipped with 4 Gigabit SFP ports for optical uplinks or backbone network connections. It supports L3 routing with RIP v2, static routing, and Policy-Based Routing (PBR) protocols.
Advanced network features
The switch supports up to 4,094 VLANs, VLAN translation, Q-in-Q for service provider applications, Private VLAN, and Voice VLAN with automatic configuration via VSDP. IGMP snooping v1/v2/v3 optimizes multicast traffic with support for up to 2,000 groups.
High availability and redundancy
Rapid Spanning Tree Protocol (RSTP) technology ensures fast network convergence. Link Aggregation Control Protocol (LACP) enables the creation of up to 8 aggregation groups with 8 ports each for increased throughput and redundancy.
Flexible management
Mode with integrated probe for Cisco Business Dashboard eliminates the need for separate hardware. Also supports SNMP v1/v2c/v3, SSH v1/v2, HTTPS, RADIUS, and TACACS+ for integration into enterprise systems. Cisco Network Plug and Play enables automated deployment.
