The Cisco Catalyst 1300-48MGP-4X switch offers a total of 48 ports, including 32 Gigabit Ethernet ports and 16 2.5Gigabit ports, all with PoE+ (802.3at) support. With a total PoE budget of 740 W, it can power up to 48 devices simultaneously, making it an ideal solution for networks with a large number of IP phones, Wi-Fi 6/6E wireless access points, or IP cameras.
For high-speed connectivity to the backbone network or interconnecting multiple switches, it features four 10Gigabit SFP+ slots. The switch supports advanced Layer 3 features including dynamic routing, VLANs, QoS, and stacking of up to 8 units into a single logical entity. It is managed through the intuitive Cisco Business Dashboard or classic CLI interface.
Multi-Gigabit Technology
16 ports with 2.5 Gb/s speed utilize existing Cat5e/Cat6 structured cabling and provide sufficient bandwidth for Wi-Fi 6/6E access points without the need to upgrade cabling to Cat6A.
High PoE Budget
Total power of 740 W enables powering all 48 ports with PoE+ standard (up to 30 W per port), which is sufficient for IP phones, wireless APs, IP cameras, and other PoE devices in a single network.
Advanced Network Features
The switch supports up to 4,094 VLANs, QoS with 8 queues, ACL rules, port mirroring, IGMP snooping for multicast, and other enterprise features. Thanks to L3 capabilities, it also handles inter-VLAN routing.
Stacking and High Availability
Up to 8 switches can be interconnected into a stack via 10G SFP+ ports and managed as a single unit. In case of master switch failure, a new one is automatically elected, minimizing downtime.
