24-port PoE injector for rack mounting with IEEE 802.3bt standard support, enabling upgrade of existing network infrastructure to PoE++ technology. The device offers 24 ports with 10/100/1000/2.5G/5G/10GBase-T speeds and a total PoE budget of 800 W. Each port can deliver up to 95 W of power over standard Cat5e/6/6A/7 cabling at distances up to 100 meters.
The device features advanced intelligent PoE functions including power scheduling, powered device status monitoring (PD alive check), automatic restart, and power consumption monitoring. For secure management, it supports TLSv1.2 and TLSv1.3 protocols and integration with the PLANET CloudNMS platform for centralized network management. The rack-mount construction with 1U height and intelligent cooling ensures quiet and reliable operation.
Flexible PoE modes and compatibility
The injector supports three power delivery modes: 95 W 802.3bt PoE++ utilizing all four wire pairs (pins 1/2/3/6 + 4/5/7/8), 36 W End-span 802.3at (pins 1/2/3/6), and 36 W Mid-span 802.3at (pins 4/5/7/8). This flexibility solves the incompatibility problem of non-standard 4-pair PoE devices and enables powering a wide range of equipment from PTZ cameras through thin clients to digital signage displays and PoE lighting.
Intelligent power management
The PD alive check function monitors the status of connected devices in real-time using ping commands. If a device stops responding, the injector automatically resets the PoE port power and restores functionality. PoE schedule allows scheduled power on/off of individual ports at defined time intervals for energy savings. Regular device restarts can be configured every minute, hour, or day to prevent freezing caused by buffer overflow.
Web interface and CloudNMS
The intuitive web interface provides complete control over the system and PoE features. The power consumption graph displays real-time power usage of connected devices. Integration with the PLANET CloudNMS platform and mobile app enables IT personnel to remotely manage all network devices, centralized monitoring, fault detection, and instant event notifications from a single cloud interface.
PoE range extension
Thanks to the high 95 W per port output, PLANET PoE extenders can be used to extend the power delivery range beyond the standard 100 meters. By daisy-chaining multiple 802.3bt PoE++ extenders, it is possible to double, triple, or quadruple the PoE network distance for device installation in hard-to-reach locations.
